MUDr. Markéta Šumichrastová graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University in Bratislava. She then continued her specialization studies in pediatrics at the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava, which she successfully completed in 2020. She further expanded her professional focus with a specialization in adolescent medicine, obtaining a comprehensive qualification for providing healthcare to both children and adolescent patients.
She began her medical practice in 2016 at the Pediatric Clinic of the Faculty Hospital in Trnava, where she worked until obtaining her specialization in pediatrics. During this period, she gained extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of pediatric diseases.
From 2021 to 2025, she worked in a private pediatric outpatient clinic, where she provided primary healthcare for children and adolescents. She was part of a clinic team that was highly rated by patients for its professional and empathetic approach to healthcare.
She is a graduate of the professional Vaccination School course and regularly participates in professional events and congresses to provide her patients with healthcare in accordance with the latest medical knowledge.
