MUDr. Renáta Bošternáková

A physician with many years of experience, she has worked in expert medical positions in pharmaceutical companies, where she organized professional education for healthcare professionals, professional societies, patients, and the public. She collaborated with state institutions, health insurance companies, professional societies, and patient organizations. She also organized clinical research at both local and international levels.

MUDr. Renáta Bošternáková completed her university studies in general medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava. She obtained her board certification in adult psychiatry in 2001 after professional practice at Psychiatric Hospital Veľké Zálužie. At this institution, she also worked as deputy head physician, where she gained her first leadership experience.

She gained further psychiatric practice while working in a private psychiatric outpatient clinic. She also broadened her expertise as a consulting physician for departments and clinics of a general hospital, as well as through work at a psychiatric department of a general hospital.

In clinical practice, she follows the bio-psycho-social model of medicine. Based on this approach, she treats each patient individually, considering the patient's overall health status, life stage, lifestyle, and personal life situation. For each patient, she applies multidisciplinary cooperation when addressing health difficulties.
